Back to Shul Night Shabbat Service, Potluck and Learn Yiddish with a Song

September 6, 2019
6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Potluck Dinner and Learn Yiddish with a Song!

So if you didn’t RSVP yet for Back to Shul Night, it is not too late.  The potluck will be at 6:30 p.m  followed by services at 7:30 p.m. with our special guests Diane and Ray Wacks.   Diane and Ray will lead with a short introduction to Yiddish and where it came from and the role it played in Jewish history.  They will then teach an easy song in Yiddish and yes, we will have song sheets available.     Sign up for the potluck.
We will also be having a blessing of the students, staff and adult learners for the new year.  And for the youngest among us there will be the opportunity to do Sand Art during services. Some of our Camp Havaya children will help to lead services.
