Oseh Programming for Children

At Oseh we provide opportunities for children of all ages to come together for learning & community.

Kids, emptynesters, singles join together to learn and play at Passover

Multigenerational (birth to elders)

Oseh Together: On festivals such as Tu Bishvat, Passover and more we encourage everyone to come out and take part in multigeneration proprams with tracks for adults and kids.  This is not just for families. We love having singles, retirees and anyone else join us to learn more about these festive events and connect with community.

Youngest Children (birth to 6 yrs old)

Having fun is required at Oseh

Finding your inner musician

Oseh offers a preschool program once a month for 3-5 years olds that combines play and learning for a joyful Jewish experience.

Shabbat Sababa: On the first Friday of the month, we offer a Sababa Shabbat service for infants through 6 (or whatever age parents chose) for a half hour of games, activity and play followed by a potluck dinner.

We have a wonderful experiential program for your child. Classes meet on Sundays from 9-11:30 am.  Details below! We have new mid-week programs for children and their parents. This year there are 3 6-week sessions with different topics. Different sessions meet on different days. Details on the Oseh School Religious School page!  We also offer a monthly family service at 6 pm that’s just a half hour.

Bnai Mitzvah

We care deeply about helping your child step into learning, leadership, and their own development of their relationship to Judaism through our Bnai Mitzvah program. Our materials are presently being updated. Contact Rabbi Daria with questions.

Summer Camp!

Many of our children attend Jewish summer camp, in particular Camp Havaya, the Reconstructionist Camp. It’s a powerful way to strengthen your child’s Jewish identity. Did you know that the camp provides much scholarship for families? Oseh also has a fund. And for first time campers, you get $1000 off the summer’s tuition! Contact the office  for more information.

Teen Programs

  • Our teens can come together for community service, learning and community building through Teen Connect.
  • They can also study for Confirmation.
  • And they also gain leadership skills and great experience (and a modest salary) through our Madrikh program, where they help out in the Oseh School.
  • Many of our teens also are involved with BBYO (Bnai Brith Youth Organization).
