Oseh Shalom welcomes Jewish families, singles and those exploring Judiasm. We have members of all ages and backgrounds, from Orthodox to Reform and many interfaith families. Take as long as you like to get to know our community and decide whether it is for you. Non-members are welcome at services, classes, meals, and other synagogue events.

When you're ready, join our family. As a member, you will be able to count on this community for support in times of joy and sorrow. You will have a place to come to learn, play and pray.  Members who wish are invited to join synagogue committees and help shape our programs and our community. You can take pride that you will be supporting a community that reflects your values and ideals because every voice is heard here and all help appreciated.

Our dues structure is tiered by demographic categories that take into consideration the age and family status of our members. To help make your decision to join us easier, we offer new members a 50 percent discount on regular dues for their first year of membership.  We also firmly believe that finances should not be a bar to being part of our community and will work confidentially with those whose circumstances call for a special accommodation in dues.  Please contact our synagogue administrator, Judee Iliff, for additional details: 301-498-5151.

Members get significant discounts on school fees. Families of Bar/Bat Mitzvah students are required to be members, but we hope you will want to be part of our community for life.
