Fall Fun Fest for Kids: Sunday October 28

The Oseh Youth Group is holding it second Fall Fun Fest party right after Sunday School on October 28, from 11:30 pm to 1:30 pm

The event features Jewish Bingo, Board Games, Slime Making, Dance Dance Revolution Machines and more.  Tweens (10-13) only are invited to our Texas Hold 'em table (instructions provided).

This year we're going to try an get our Hannukah box of goodies to Jewish troups for Hannukah instead of Valentines day.  Every year we get a sincere letter of thanks for these lonely men and women.  Last year, we got a video of them opening presents sent to them from Oseh and a few other synagogues as they lit their menorah in a stark barrack.  Don't forget these lonely soldiers far from home. Please bring toiletries, candy, gelt, disposable cameras, tissue packs, mints etc. Then stay and make gift bags and Hannukah Card for these lonely troups.  Even if you can't make the party, we gratefully accept donations for the troups.

And what Jewish event is complete without food?  The Fun Committee will serve a bagel brunch with apples, juice, dessert and more.

Cost is $10 per family or $5 per person, which covers all food, crafts, games and activities.

RSVP so we have enough food to melmagnus@verizon.net

Stay tuned for more fun to come...

Youth Group: BBYO

Oseh Shalom BBYO is a co-ed, teen-run but advisor-supervised group for children between 9th and 12th grade.  This local chapter of the international order of Bnai B’rith Youth Organization is one of the largest and most active in the area.  We have 70+ members that join us for a variety of activities ranging from Shabbat Dinners to Jewish Singled Out.  BBYO encourages the teen leaders to plan and execute creative programming in each of the five required areas: social, educational, athletic, Judiac and community service/social action.  Many of our members serve and mingle on the council level as well as the Regional level.  Our boys also compete in football and basketball leagues. For more information, contact the Oseh Office.
