Shabbat Evening Service

January 27, 2023
7:30 pm - 8:45 pm
Cantor Caitlin and Rabbi Daria will lead this week’s Friday night Shabbat Service.  The parsha, Bo, includes the final three of the 10 plagues. It’s a powerful story that we read in the Torah, and that we retell at our seders. However, what does it really have to do with us and our lives today?
Also, don’t miss our “Chanukah in January” special services this Friday!
We won’t let last month’s bitter cold snap stop our intrepid choir! Let’s light up the winter night as we have another chance at our joyful Chanukah-inspired Shabbat service at 7:30 pm, led by Cantor Caitlin and Rabbi Daria with student guest leader, Evelyn Pavao-Zuckerman.
Start the evening with our order-in dinner or bring your own, at 6:15.  Details for ordering dinner from Bella Indian and Italian Restaurant, please see the Carry Out Shabbat listing on the calendar.  Food order request must be made by Friday at 12:00 pm.

Join us in person if possible, guests are always welcome, or on Zoom for a spiritual, musical service this Friday at 7:30 pm.

Prayerbook: Shabbat Vehagim

Come Friday night to hear some about this parsha, and return on Shabbat morning for concrete practices and conversation on this very topic beginning at 9:15 with meditation, 10 am with Hebrew chanting, and 11 am for Torah study/conversation! (Please remember to bring a towel for your meditation practice!)
Stay after Shabbat morning services for a veggie/dairy potluck!
