Tuesday, January 12 & Tuesday, January 19 from 7-8:30pm. This is a two part training, and it is recommended participants attend both sessions. Please email pgcminyan@gmail.com or osehsocialjustice@gmail.com for more information and to sign-up.
During this period of deep upheaval and inequity, many of us are asking, “What can I do to be part of creating change?”  Bend the Arc: Jewish Action Prince George’s County invites you to join us for a special training to explore how white supremacy and anti-Black racism operate systemically in our country and personally in our lives and communities.
Before we can transform our community, state, or country, we need to learn about the history of white supremacy that has led us to this moment — because we need to understand where we come from to envision and take action to create a different future.

During the two days we will learn about the origins and present manifestations of each of these systems and movements. We will delve into our own personal stake in dismantling them. We will also offer an opportunity to take action towards building a multi-racial democracy and economy in which we can all thrive.
