Our Women’s Discussion Group will take another romp through the Book of Exodus – specifically the 10 plagues. There is a large body of thought that says the plagues were actually symbolic attacks on the Egyptian gods. But there are other interpretations. This one tries to fit the plagues into a scientific framework. Most scholars agree that the Exodus did not coincide with that catastrophe but some weather phenomena caused by the explosion may have gotten “mixed in” as the fable was repeated across generations.  All women are welcome.
