Both Charlie and John Riehl will be d’rashing about Korah’s rebellion but approaching it from different angles. On Saturday morning we’ll go over the story, explore some interesting Midrashes and ask questions such as: Were Korah and his community unfairly punished? What was their crime that so upset  the author of the Torah and later rabbis? Does this Torah portion illustrate ways NOT to question authority? And how is this Torah parshah part of a proof  text for Reconstructionism?

Join us this Saturday for our chanting service and a Torah discussion which will begin around 11:00.
